Check out these truly amazing figures at the Fallas Festival in Valencia, Spain. Every year this is a big spectacle in Valencia. Artists work about a year on these giant papier-mâché figures, often 20 feet tall or even more. A jury is choosing a winner and at the end of the festival, each and every of these figures goes up in flames! IT’S CRAZY!!!! But beautiful crazy. :)

GREAT NEWS! “DER MANN MIT DEM FAGOTT” (“THE MAN WITH THE BASSOON”) was awarded as best serial at the 14th German Television Award 2012!
Started as a dynamesh doodle, I decided to take him a bit further. First time I rendered completely in Zbrush, great fun! For the final image I did some minor post work in photoshop.

After the premier in Berlin, the TV movie “Der Mann mit dem Fagott” was recently broadcasted on ARD. It was a lot of fun working on this project. I hope I can post some images in the gallery soon.
